Academy of Personal Protection and Security

The Academy of Personal Protection and Security has served Nashville and Middle Tennessee for 27 years as the state's first full-time private certified handgun training facility for civilians. The academy offers the Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit course, armed and unarmed security guard training and recertification, active school shooter response training, and women's self-defense classes. The business also provides LEOSA H.R.218 training, virtual simulator competitions, and site security threat assessments. The Academy of Personal Protection and Security serves the greater Nashville metro region.
